A few words from Hayley today:
I have been eating the same exact food for a whole year, Iams Smart Puppy. Imagine eating the same meal everyday for a year. Now imagine one day as you march to your dinner bowl you are welcomed with a new smell and to your happiness there is a new food in it!

My humans finally gave me something new to eat. Now that I turned one year old I can eat grown up dog food, Iams ProActive Health Lamb and Rice formula. One word – yum! I used to just pick at my food before, but now I gobble it right up, one kibble at a time. The hard kibble is good for cleaning plaque and tarter from my teeth; and the lower calorie, fat and protein content compared to the puppy formula, is helping me keep my girlish figure.

yummy lamb and rice
As I dined on my yummy lamb food today I realized that not every dog is as lucky as I am. My human found this website where if you simply click once a day, they will feed other animals in shelters. How easy is that? Please click here for my furry friends. Help provide food for some of the 27 million unwanted animals given to shelters in the U.S. every year. Each click on the purple “Click Here to Give – it’s FREE” button at this site provides food and care for rescued animals living in a shelter.
I remember what it was like to sit in the cage at the animal center and wait to someone to come take me home with them, I’m so happy that they did!

Ali,
I can’t stay away from the Hayley blogs!
Kind of reminds me of the “first person dog” entries I’ve been seeing a lot of lately on the Britney Spaniel Rescue organization.

how cute, thanks for sharing. My dad really likes the Brittanys too. there is something fun about putting words into what we think the dog might say, found this site the other day that personifies the dog and cat, too funny http://www.animalcenter.org/petpaw/
